Fitness Background
In Georgia, Daniel successfully helped numerous clients achieve their fitness goals, with several winning body transformation contests under his guidance. His journey then brought him to the Winter Park YMCA in Florida, where he excelled as the Senior Wellness Director. In this role, he trained and supervised personal trainers, coordinated community events like Healthy Kids Day, and promoted overall wellness.
Mayor’s Fitness Challenge
Daniel's extensive fitness expertise led to a collaboration with the City of New Smyrna Beach and Bert Fish Medical Center to launch the Mayor’s Fitness Challenge, a 12-week self-improvement program aimed at enhancing community health. His contributions included organizing a health fair and fitness assessment to kick off the event, offering group exercise classes, personal training, health seminars, fitness events, and culminating in a celebration banquet. The success of this initiative has led to its expansion across multiple cities, positively impacting thousands of individuals on their fitness journeys.
Commitment to Youth and Education
Daniel's passion for fitness extends to the youth, where he combines his love for teaching, fitness training, and coaching to inspire secondary students. He has dedicated over 20 years to the education system as a teacher, high school football coach, and basketball coach for middle and high school students. Currently, he serves as the principal of a secondary school focused on equipping students with real-world skills and preparing them for future success.
